Dear colleagues!

On October 28-30, there will take place the key event of the Summit: the International Scientific Conference "Challenges and Trends in World Linguistics" (hereinafter – the Conference).

The form of hosting is hybrid.

The main topics of the Conference are:

1. Digital humanities.

2. Mechanisms of understanding and complexity of the text: an interdisciplinary approach.

3. Cognitive linguistics.

4. Clinical and neurolinguistics, psycholinguistics.

5. Traditional linguistics and its digital transformation.

6. Literature, art and language in a multicultural world.

7. The Russian language in the modern scientific and educational paradigm.

8. Tatar and other Turkic languages in the multicultural world.

9. Theory and methodology of teaching foreign languages.

10. Artificial intelligence in language education.

Participation in the conference is possible in two ways: offline (on the basis of Kazan Federal University), and online.

The materials (articles) prepared by the conference participants and uploaded by them upon registration on the Summit website, corresponding to the topic of the report, will be published in the conference proceedings (electronic edition) and indexed in the RSCI.

The requirements and a sample design of the article are given in the Appendix.

Based on the opinion of the reviewers, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to select and edit the submitted materials and return them to the author for revision.

It is possible to participate in the conference without presenting a report or an article.

The registration fee for participation in the conference is 1000 RUB.

The registration period is from June 25 to September 30, 2026. The deadline for payment of the registration fee is no later than October 15, 2026.

Registered participants of the conference, if they wish and have the appropriate research material, can also publish an article in the journal “Philology and Culture”, which is included in the List of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, the "White List", indexed in Berkeley Library, CrossRef, Dimensions, Lens.Org, Mendeley, MIT Libraries, OpenAire, Semantic Scholar, Xueshu.baidu.com, WorldCat.org, etc. It is necessary to send the article to the email address mileuscha@mail.ru. All requirements for publication are available on the journal's website.

The VII Kazan International Linguistic Summit also includes:

§ October 19-20: All-Russian Student Scientific and Practical Forum "Challenges and Trends in modern Humanities: the view of the young".

§ October 21-23: Linguistic and Methodological Festival "Linguistic Transformations and methodological Innovations 2026" (in 3 directions: Russian language and literature, Tatar language and literature, foreign languages).

§ October 26-27: IV International Forum "Russian Language and Literature as a means of Shaping Russian Identity and International Integration".

§ October 27-28: "mirror" sections of the Summit, held on the basis of the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute within the framework of the International Forum "Russian Studies and Turkology: literary Traditions, Cultural Transfer and Translation", etc.

At the end of the Summit, each registered participant will receive a certificate of participation in the Summit.
